Today I finally feel the weight of a 2 week vacation fully upon me.............I need a vacation from my vacation. I have washed dishes so often I feel like I am attached to the sink. Seriously. I have washed my large cast iron skillet an average of twice daily. Similarly, if I don't wash my crockpot again for a while, I will not be sad. I had so many lofty plans for my vacation: reading, jewelry making, sewing, etc. About the only thing I did accomplish was to try out several gluten free flours for some baking. Crappy cable is truly a rampant virus. Of all the channels we have, nothing is of any value save TCM and the Hallmark Channel. I could delete almost all the channels in the lineup and not miss a thing. Even standards like the Macy's Parade and Dick Clark's Rocking New Year's Eve are so full of commercial breaks and cuts to other venues that someone ends up watching alot of garbage in the middle. I am nostalgic for something earlier. Classic cable
